No. What it needs to end is the American obsession with the rights of people to say whatever they want in any context and expecting no consequences whatsoever.

Nice article. From experience I would say the SQL knowledge should be advanced though. Not intermediate.

Something it's missing in the CS teaching industry is material (and probably a method too) for experienced programmers who want to learn a new language. It's so hard to find resources to learn the spirit and philosophy behind a la

I don't think it's worth pointing that out. It's pretty obvious just like it's pretty obvious who the target audience is.

Another happy ProtonMail user here. I've been using it for about 2 years now. You can also import you Gmail content to your proton account if you want. Their VPN also works really well.

I think ranking yourself is difficult when you're actually average or below average. If you have a successful career or you have done things not many people have, that's pretty much empiric evidence that you are above average.

Great to see a couple of talks on org. I know a couple people (including myself) who don't use Emacs as a main editor but use org to manage tasks, ideas, projects, etc.

That's exactly my criticism. You don't need both. You only add confusion by having both. Just stick to one and improve it. Most successful languages don't have native support for two concurrency models and people have built a

I think Go adds even more complexity to concurrency by pushing the CSP model. CSP is hard for many problems where classic shared-memory using locks and atomics are well defined (think of classic concurrency programming textbooks).
