Because for them subscribers are low-volume. Subscriber only section is generally pretty small and shares a couple key tips or viewpoints. If there was nothing wrong with it OP wouldn't feel the need to use a throwaway account.

I think it is unfair to the semianalysis team to share information from the subscriber only section.

All fabs have libraries that their customers use to turn chip RTL to actual transistor layout to be fabbed. Apple silicon is made using mobile libraries, same as their iPhone and iPad chips. Even though they're made on these dense libr

The linked tweet promotes a paper where we operate directly on bytes - I want to say I agree this is the future instead.

I generally don't enjoy something being diminished on account of being "not really that novel". Your comment essentially says - this is not a high quality submission because readers might not actually read it, which is no fau

How do you imagine consoles work? And what about Apple's tight integration has actually made itself useful? The developer experience is terrible.

What do you mean Microsoft "forcibly snagging profits"? How do you profit? I am not familiar with incentives behind posting on SO. Does Microsoft not cite SO posts in Bing results? Do they not make it easy to find the "correc

There is no way it will take a whole second regardless. Even when compiled in debug mode, it takes about 100 ms. Try it here, I had Bing AI write it out - https://play.rust-lang.org/?version=stable&mode=release&edit.

Your problem is you want your tool to behave like you, you think it has access to the same information as you and perceives everything similarly. If you had no recollection of the past, and were presented with the same information search co

If a tool is giving you an answer that you know is not correct, would you not just turn to a different tool for an answer? It's not like Bing forces you to use chat, regular search is still available. Searching "avatar 2 screening

Who is proposing the use of ChatGPT, in its current form, for search? Bing search is not just "ChatGPT" added next to bing search results. Please look up how it works, it is quite sophisticated and (imo) designed well. I have acce

What do you mean "4080's ML/Compute"? 4080 is nowhere close to 7900 XTX in flops or bandwidth or VRAM. 4080 is terrible for ML. People need to get over "NVIDIA = AI" hasn't been true for at least a year.
