Post and heading are written to attribute this to malice, without offering any proof. It seems likely given how new Bun is that the benchmark writers simply lacked familiarity.

It would help if you read the parent comment and made a response to its contents. In so far, you've just validated his point - as a member of "the public" not understanding science and using partial truths to reinforce previo

Are we talking about the same Telemetry that can be turned off? If you work in such an environment, I imagine you can only use approved, audited software - so you don't have an option.

There is no actual reason to avoid proprietary builds from Microsoft either, just people on this thread being weird about telemetry.

You would probably benefit from watching a talk or two on ECS (Entity component system).

If using en-in is as unpopular as you suggest in India, then surely it’s non-existent outside of India..

Complying with local regulations is a cost of doing business, Heroku seems like they couldn’t be bothered to comply and are okay losing customers. Which would be fine if they gave a long enough notice, but this article as no date on it.

I’ve read on r/selfdriving that he did take over, the “take over” alert just lingers for a few seconds.

I don’t use Word at all, there are many other pieces of software in the Office suite, many which simply did not exist 20 years ago. If you think nothing has changed then it is very likely you don’t need Office.

There is a chance that your use case is basic and hasn’t changed in 20 years, but I think there is a higher chance of it’s a case of general hatred for Microsoft. > only bloat to keep up with the need to create a need for faster processo

Apple has had many years after Vulkan came out to support it alongside Metal or phase out Metal with MoltenVk but we all know that’s not going to happen.

The algorithm is essentially just inserting the i + 1 th element into the sorted subarray from 0 to i, and it inserts in the correct place. I’ll be teaching this next week or the one after, I’ll try to record a video and share if I remember

It’s a lot more work to massage bubble sort into the other sorting algorithms they need to learn without scraping the code and starting from scratch.

I see now that people seem to be equating intuition with making steady, obvious progress. If you think about the point of all the adjacent comparisons in the inner loop for bubble sort is, it is finding the largest number and moving it to t

Yes. I can read. It finds the largest number and places it at `i`. In the next iteration the largest number from 0 to `i` is placed at `i+1` Right up until `j` reaches `i`. Leaving a trail of orderliness. As the value of `i` increases we ap

Well, I teach Algorithms, I think there is an obvious intuition as to why this works and I use this algorithm to introduce sorting.

I've rarely ever seen any discussion of Windows Telemetry actually discuss how it violates their privacy. Is it not possible that the telemetry exists only to collect data on how to improve software? Do we know it's being used for
