Gee, Mr. Sarcastic, aren't we now? "Delete" has always been separate from "purge" since the beginning of PCs.

I don't know about android, but I can put virtualbox and a dev stack on windows and do all kinds of stuff. I have a broken terminal emulator on my iphone. So, to your point, yeah. Edit: I'll add to this point. A couple of night

My belief is even more draconian: I believe you shouldn't be able to cross "industries" like that. If you are hardware, you don't do software, and vice-versa. If you deliver content (cable companies) then you don&#x27

if Apple can do it on top of bluetooth I think the heart of the problem lies here. It's the fact that we have to pay solid attention to the UI when we make these changes- and we have to care about the UX. This thread is focusing

Jesus that is such a god-awful dark pattern. It kinda breaks my heart to read this. I guess I'm locked into the iphone ecosystem for a while, despite their exorbitant prices. Sigh. Too bad that Ubuntu phone died on the vine.

Just an aside, not really to your overall point: The dark line down the middle of the person is simply the background showing through. And I appreciate your comments on the site fonts. Those are entirely my fault.

I actually agree with gp. The common UI these days is to have a clearly outlined place to type with placeholder text in a lighter font. It's simple to make the change and I think OP should. Nice product though.

Here's another anecdote about using freelancers for this: When I wanted a logo for studyswami.com, I went to fiverr (or something similar) and asked several different designers for a logo. With all of these logos in hand, I brought t

Now when I hit "guide" I get a modal popup serving me an ad, that I then have to exit. Soon it will be two, then three, then.... The same thing happened to "previews" when you go to the movies.

If by respect you mean tolerance, I agree. But I cannot respect, for example, those that believe (as per Leviticus) practicing homosexuals should be put to death.

The problem, however, is that people are unresponsive to arguments. We are not reasonable, unfortunately. People aren't coming to these places to learn. They don't want to learn. I'm very curious as to how we can get out

Keep in mind that slide-rules typically have more than one scale. So there could be a scale for volume, a scale for weight- even a scale to estimate cooking times.
