Why don't banks/police track down where the money went to? It's a wire transfer after all, not a crypto transaction. All account details are well known to both sending and receiving banks.

It's ironic that data governance and access control are getting to be a bigger deal every year exactly because everyone migrated off premises to the cloud. People lost control over their data when they migrated it to the cloud and now

In reality, their business and reputation don't depend on security mishaps, because they are too big to fail. See this fresh thread: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37702095

1. It's definitely not a red flag. Solopreneurs can be successful and grow businesses to non-trivial levels of revenue and income. I myself went that path, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I'd even argue, being solo shou

The real problem is big-money-driven design. Big-money stakeholders don't care about non-measurable things like user experience or user well-being. Big money thinks finance, and finance is always metrics, so everything else becomes met

That's a good question. I don't think anyone has a good understanding of the causes of low fertility rates in Canada and in other developed countries. I personally think economics certainly play a role here, especially in high COL

The fertility rate in Canada is far below the reproduction level. Any Canadian government has no choice but to double down on immigration. The alternative is financial collapse due to the lack of workforce and diminishing internal consumer

You didn't get the point. Your cloud provider can do things that you don't see and can't control. If you think all cloud provider's employees follows best security practices because they told you so, then good luck.
