I was not necessarily talking about performance when mentioning JS. It was the memory leak. Gnome performs "fine?" at bootup, but starts becoming sluggish as you use it because their JS interpreter doesn't automatically have

Gnome IS slow. Have you used unity 7? It has more animations and effects but still performs way better than gnome3. Gnome3 isn't bloated, it's just written with js. Plain and simple. It's known that driver support is bad. But

You can blame js for that. It's known as the famous gnome memory leak.

That's great, but we really need something like this that can allow us to simulate microcontrollers / raspberry pi. Development would become really simple for us software guys then !

We really need something like flutter for the web now. I'm sick of writing markup and stylesheets (react jsx is basically html with a little sparkle). Flutter integrates styling markup and business logic in such a wonderful way, I'

Which Ubuntu Linux? The gnome one or unity one? I liked untiy too, it was almost perfect. But gnome3 messed it up for everyone. Even though the unity desktop elements remain the same, unity still relies on gnome apps, like nautilus. I don&

This really needs to be a thing with OS ui. Changing UI in gnome world, and linux world in general is a real problem. Why can't stuff just stay where I rememeber it is! Mac OS does quite well in this area, at least compared to windows

I am not sure, but serverless requires more config and tweaking as compared to arhitect. In contrast, serverless is a more mature and flexible platform.
