I've been there. Eventually moved to kde plasma as well. Its much more reliable than gnome but it requires some getting used to. It's a little cluttered when compared to rather simple gnome

The gnome JavaScript rant is real. I had to move on to kde plasma because of it. Kde plasma is more powerful but a little cluttered. Gnome has managed to keep things very simplistic. There is a silver lining though, gnome4 has plans to dit

I shit you not, but in India, at our university, we are not allowed to write code on the PC unless we present the code, pseudo code and flowchart first. Same story for the CAD subject. (Cs majors have to study that) I find this very absurd
