I don't have close to what you have as a background but I've been able to get interest in my resume and just landed a position in sf, I havev the fortune of having family out there so maybe that helped, but you should be able to get a lot o

I had a phone interview a little while back where the interviewer asked various technical questions and then, if I struggled a bit, would help explain things, and if I got it wrong would give me an answer / explanation after each. The posit

If simple CRUD functionality in a web service is all you need, you are right that you shouldn't be writing this and you don't need to if you choose the right rapid application dev framework. I currently do Java dev and even for the bad rap

I agree... cut out the animation, its too distracting and just as you start to read one page it changes to the next, I would recommend a clean, concise tab that explains what features the app has and why I would want to start using it

yes I do understand. Keep in mind this is someone I've never talked to before, they call me during working hours and have some expectation that I will answer and when I don't they just decide rather than leave a message and call back a day

I think I have an old resume up there.. also, its definitely more than 1 person, although some do call repeatedly, its amazing how rude they can be, if you don't answer they call again in 20 minutes and keep doing this 3-4 times.

Yeah, I agree.. well I have also gotten some emails (from seemingly similar types of "recruiters") who do some sketchy things such as asking me to fill out a form with SS#, etc, obviously these go right to my spam box.

I think they are too lazy to actually look at your profile, they just do a keyword search and then contact you directly form the search page (you can still do this on LinkedIn if memory serves me correctly), apparently, being bothered to cl

Has anyone else noticed a trend of getting a lot of calls from offshore recruiters? I don't mean to sound xenophobic but I seem to get this stream of calls now (often 1-2 per day) from "recruiters" who I can barely understand as they have v

Yes, I can see how it could become not benign. With the way the government has been going, I could see them wanting access to all this data and even start doing something like profiling people's buying habits.. oh, so you frequently buy pac

In the U.S. it is illegal to offer credit to anyone under the age of 18 as they cannot legally enter into contracts. It would be a huge liability for a credit card company as the contract for credit (and thus right to request repayment) wou
