True. But supporting iOS 12 would mean I could start working on SwiftUI apps today.

As long as startups insist on noisy, open environments I'll work remote. Just like some people can have a conversation while the TV is on some people can work in that environment. And everybody seems to have to adapt to those people no

One thing that Google does right with Android is back porting to older versions.

I'll start wearing tin foil hats again as you built exactly what I had in mind when thought what the future of a Swift-based UI should look like. Literally every box checked.

It's already available with a long press on the refresh icon, "request desktop site". Probably it'll let you request a mobile version now and requests the desktop site by default.

I like the way Objective-C made me "think different" compared to more straight C-syntax style languages like Java, PHP or even superficially JavaScript (ironically none of them actually had the C support level Objective-C had!). T

Actually the really analog ones aren't that bad, they just require a lot of time. The early digital ones including stuff like a polyphonic keyboard scanner for the CS-80 are things that are really problematic.

Ironically there are tons of people wearing Quechua where the actual Quechua live since it's affordable and good. Which is pretty astounding as Decathlon doesn't even have stores in Argentina.

The goal of an MVP is not to write crappy code to get something quickly out of the door but to not build every feature into all details to get all of the parts together and see how they work first. It's about the code you don't wr

Heineken is pretty good for an industrial lager. A lot of brands seem to cheat with the malt sheet or hop to make beer cheaper. Having said that, I just don't like lager/pils that much to begin with. Tried 20 in the Beer Museum in

Well try to use C++ without the C part, see how that goes. C is a part of Objective-C and you can write Swift code that will compile byte for byte into code as performant as C. It's ugly, it's unsafe but it's part of the lang
