I'm surprised you don't mention Windows Mobile. I'm not is the US. Can you guys actually use WinMo phones in the US? Do you have access to something like the 'HTC Touch HD' over there? This isn't a rhetorical question I just don't know. I'

The Next iphone will still be one generation behind the next crop of smartphones from HTC or other manufacturers. At about the same time they introduce video someone else will be introducing a screen close to the 1024 pixels wide. After the

I think the description provided in the article is pretty unambiguous. Perhaps other people might want different behaviours but what was described is the article is exactly what I want. I don't care if the cache is valid. I don't care if th

All I've ever wanted from adblock was a 'Disable ads on this site' button. Maybe they could even make it social so a central list of blocked sites could be generated. Normally I'm happy to see the ads. For me it is part of the experience.(M

Yes they would if the title of the article was accurate. But it isn't. The title is a poor piece of sensationalistic journalism. They are only issuing 'take down' notices for direct links. This is stupid enough in itself and should be ridic

I believe this is inaccurate. After reading through the entire article and the page on EFF there is no indication of a take down notice for anything but a direct link to the 'offending material'. If I've missed something please let me know.

I think you have misinterpreted my perspective. The point is not whether pork is safe to eat here and now. I was more talking about whether it was originally responsible for the zoonotic transfer from pig to human that must have occurred. T

I looked up the reference you provided and it says 'Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.' So you

You might be able to get something going if you release it as open source. I'm sure there are examples of successful open source companies in comparable sectors.

I'm seeing a lot of contradictory indications in the news. 'China bans pork from US/Mexico', reports that 'properly cooked' pork is fine. You would think the original mutation could easily have happened in circumstances that are different f

I agree with many of your points (uncool, sloganeering). But I find it interesting that you are saying the original idea is not worthy of consideration ('irrelevant') because you think it MIGHT be incorrect ('to the best of my knowledge').

It is pretty sad to see the knee jerk emotional response that many otherwise rational people have when it comes to the subject of impacts of meat eating. I guess you could call it another 'inconvenient truth'.

You have this completely wrong. It takes about 10 times the plant calories to produce meat calories. If the world stopped eating meat we would would be able to feed many more people.

Possibly true. However there must have originally been some transfer from pigs to humans. Eating pigs and keeping them as livestock almost certainly contributed to the disease occurring. It is too late to stop this one but what about the ne

I am stating reality as I see it and then deriving my morals from that view of reality. Your argument starts from a desired result (the 'elevation of humans') and works back toward reality from there. Humans are meat. That is reality. Even
