Reading the white paper, and looking at their other projects (HVM and Kind), I have the feeling they successfully implemented what Urbit [0] tried to do, but in an elegant and efficient way, instead of going the convoluted and obfuscated ro

Also apart from Ethereum switch to PoS planned soon (hopefully), there is a lot of PoS blockchains in production today. Cosmos (ATOM) [0], for instance, is live since march 2019 and going very well, spawning a whole ecosystem of PoS block

There is actually at least one good anime produced by Netflix, to my great surprise : she-ra and the princesses of power. Just discovered it and watching it with my two daughters (5 and 8 years old). Not saying it is comparable to Princess

This thread lacks factual information : no source for the $6.5k/month revenue, and no source for the LoRaWAN market analysis supposedly demonstrating it is a "fake, overblown use case" Actually I would be interested in unders

Well not in France at least, and as far as I know this is the same in most EU countries. I do not really know for Asia and Africa though, but I only ever heard of US (and now of UK). I will add that in some EU countries you are not taxed at

In most (all ?) countries except US, you are not taxed for crypto to crypto conversion. However you are taxed when you convert crypto to fiat. For example if you want to secure your bitcoins benefits by converting them to 1M USD, in France

Thanks ! I understand what you mean, this is perfectly relevant especially for small communities. I am not sure it could scale to larger communities though.

There is crypto ecosystems that do not use PoW (proof-of-work, ala Bitcoin) but other consensus schemes (most notably proof-of-stake, e.g. Cosmos) that do not destroy the planet. Unregulated casino with eco-friendly tech is quite nice actua

For the sake of curiosity, did you consider Rust, and if yes why did you consider it was not suitable for your needs ? I know Zig and Rust are quite different languages, but it is my understanding that they share the same low-level approach

Or because no one could confuse a graphic library with a file system library !? This is actually very common for the same name to be used in different contexts.

Some projects try to resolve initial distribution issue by issuing airdrops. At least one project even gone further by doing what they called a "fairdrop", so that small holders receive more than large holders : https://

Have a look at cosmos.network for successful decentralized dPoS network. Also Binance chain is built using Cosmos SDK, one could argue it is not decentralized enough, but it is certainly secure enough.

Absolutely not. People with disabilities still experience the world. See Helen Keller. Your reasoning would only apply to people with no sense and no way to communicate at all .
