I wasn't questioning his celebrity? Just curious how he is able to remain relevant while essentially staying on the run from the US government.

I don't really follow Snowden closely, but something I've always wondered: Isn't his ability to provide relevant intel inherently going to decrease as time goes on? Isn't he essentially in exile right now? Is he getting

The Checklist Manifesto is one of the few "pop" business books that fundamentally changed some of the ways I work. I manage a decent sized teams and it's almost become an inside joke with my team that I expect a checklist for

This article literally doesn't mention Macs beyond the title, and in fact states that Belichick is going back to printed photos rather than any technology option. I realize the title is a play on the "guy hates windows so he must

Can you share any more details on your deploy process? Do you have a production compose file that you use with images pushed to a registry or something similar?

Haven't read the article, but the timing is interesting to me: I'm just finishing my honeymoon, and our last waiter in Costa Rica looked and acted in a way where I told my wife he seemed like a robin williams character...and then

Every time I read things like this, I am fucking awed by the skill of the authors. I consider myself fairly technical but this stuff is next level. Deconcstructing a game is one thing, but writing and teaching about it is a whole different

For some reason I can't reply to the child comment... I tried using rubymine for a bit as well, but I could never get it to not be slow as hell (I'm on a 2015 mbp with 16gb of ram). Tried tuning the settings a bit, turned on the f

Anyone use VS Code for Ruby/Rails? Equal or better than Atom/Sublime? I switched from sublime to atom recently but atom is slow (I know I know) and VS Code seems well regarded so willing to give it a try.

That's a great idea. Would be neat to have one earbud in for inevitable siri api integrations too, so I can have my emails and texts and slack messages read to me.

I believe you're firmly in the camp of first world problems. As far as I can tell they are the first wireless earphones to even address this problem with not one (external battery) but two (rapid charging) solutions at once.

How do you propose they do that without forcing every single app to be redesigned to work on a round screen rather than rectangular?

Three things I really hope they do: 1) Come out with a phone case that can hold the AirPods, and ideally charge them (Maybe enhance the battery case they already have?). I don't want yet another thing in my pocket, especially one I als

What I mean, is that $0.90/month is not a price point that works well with a credit card processing fee. Unless it's billed yearly or something.
