Very nice! httpie is my favorite HTTP client, and it's always nice if command line tools run a bit faster. Unfortunately the name clashes with a binary that's part of TeXlive: $ pacman -Qo /usr/bin/ht /usr/

I use grim with sway / wayland and it works great, much better than scrot on X (which always leaves strange visual artifacts on the image when using rectangular selection). Here's my key binding config from sway: bindsym print

It's more like "Nvidia claims they support a certain API, but it's utterly broken, and developers are rightfully fed up with that".

This is absurd. Author claims that "Wayland breaks automation software". They then use the "py37-autokey" tool as an example. Autokey uses Xorg APIs for key handling. Of course this is not going to work on Wayland since

I'm not saying that having standardized time isn't important for its usefulness (although if I know that my tea tastes well after 30 of my minutes, that's already useful to me). But you wrote "there is literally no other

Over the last ~10 years, I've put around 800$ into Kiva. From that, 188 loans for a total value of 5000$ were made. A bit more than 300$ went into Kiva donations (you can choose for every loan, to cover administrative costs). 20$ went

I bought almost all my IKEA furniture second-hand. Many of them were taken apart and re-built 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years. Most of them hold up really well. I cannot confirm that IKEA furniture is not durable. It's mostly not har

Back when Threema was founded, WhatsApp was still blasting messages in plaintext through your WiFi, where the other people sitting next to you in Starbucks could read along. I don't ever recall WhatsApp as being privacy friendly.

If it were open source, how would you be able to tell that this is the actual code running? If the proper application of E2EE can be validated using the open source client apps, why is the server code relevant from a security standpoint?
