I bought a weighted Yamaha Arius e-piano (YDP-163) about 3 years ago and am very happy with it! (Cost was around 1000$ I think, but there are also cheaper models.) I had a very cheap children's keyboard with non-weighted keys before. I

I suspect it's not about the CPU count, but about RAM. On a constrained system, it's possible that the build cannot complete. A few gigabytes of RAM are required, with 8 GiB it should definitely work. Additionally, if you're

This is huge news! I don't know of another country that has better official geodata than Switzerland. The geo-information platform at https://map.geo.admin.ch/ has been online for a few years now (for free), and contai

I'm a bit wary of logging in. Does Spotify provide OAuth with fine-grained control, i.e. will the page only get access to the music history or could it in theory change playlists and billing information?

With regards to hiking in the mountains, the difference in distance between straight line vs corrected distance is quite irrelevant though. But the elevation profile of a track is important of course. Many applications do include elevation

A GoPro performs horribly in bad light though. And it costs serveral hundred dollars as well. If you already own one, then it might be an option. But buying a GoPro to get a better webcam doesn't really make sense.

Threema predates Signal (and even TextSecure v2). Using plain NaCl boxes also has certain advantages: The crypto is quite simple and you can encrypt a message statelessly for a recipient if you have their public key. With the Signal protoco

Are you sure about the clasification? From what I heard the main issue is often cooling. Cameras and sensors are often not engineered as video capturing devices, so recording time needs to be limited to prevent overheating. Often you cannot
