I get that it's got a bit more going on, but Atom's startup time is still so much slower than Sublime Text. I open a file, there's still this "clunky" lag of 2-3 seconds to open. I hope they work on optimizing this

Thanks, saved me having to look at things myself. You'd know, is there a tool that would let me migrate all my passwords from LastPass to 1Password? I think I have like 3k passwords and the thought of manually building that DB up again

All the hate towards LastPass... but man, there are so many great tools with LastPass that the other services simply don't have yet. Given I haven't looked into it in a year or so... but the Dead Man's Switch alone makes it w

This just seems like age discrimination to me. A subtle way to cut benefits and discourage people who are over 30 from wanting to work at your company. Am I wrong? What benefit does this have to people without student loan debt? Can they st

Yeah, I don't quite understand what the goal of this voice is. Confident and helpful -- shouldn't that be the aim? Doesn't that sound different for men and women? And across different nationalities? Q sounds unsure of itself

Apple is great at a lot of things, but qualified to "make gaming even better" they are not. Most games, if they are even released on Mac, run worse on a Mac compared to Windows PC. And a lot of gaming accessories, like Razer mice,

I don’t think it’s anything to lose sleep over. Just assume someone with ASD can apologize, the same as anyone else who says something stupid. And that they feel bad when embarrassing things slip out. I’ve worked with a lot of people with A

Happy you've been happy. I'll add another thing to my experience in Australia. As an immigrant, I'm not covered by national health care. Taxed at a higher rate, plus paying for a visa, and a small fortune if I apply for a PR.

Not just CO2, but heat lowers performance. Every time I go into an office and the AC is set to like 75 or higher, I just feel groggy. Set it to like 72, or lower, and it's a lot easier to stay awake. 65 or so in the winter is perfect,
