That's a hugely beneficial change! I too have avoided extensions because of the essentially complete trust required to accept that some code is good and will not be hijacked in the future. Now when will Firefox implement the same idea?

That is unbelievable. I am already furious when I am stuck sitting on the tarmac pre/post flight "do nothing". Cannot imagine how angry I would be if I was at work but not getting paid for it.

Even if you had been given 60 seconds warning, what kind of mitigation can you do for a magnitude 2,4,6? Is there anything to be done if you are walking on the street/in a car/in a N floor building? I do not live in an earthquake

That is still more movement for when I am hacking out a feature. When I am trying to figure out an idea, I am liberally creating new variables and adding imports without care. In other languages, I can freely comment in/out large swath

In a world where car ownership is limited, I can imagine that the car interiors would be changed drastically. Something like a subway car with hard plastic seats and easily sanitized surfaces.

The Moonlander is also missing F-keys? People can swear up and down how intuitive and natural layers are, but I do not care. If there is ever a decision to be made between more and fewer keys, I always want to default to more.
