That still doesn’t really make sense. Why not run SLAAC on one subnet and have a single firewall rule for the whole thing? You’re not running any major servers on an Android phone, so it won’t be anything complex.

Your computer, and every other computer on the planet, already supports the entire IPv6 spec. There is no subset.

It’s a really complicated rule called “subtraction”. Addresses are always 128 bits long, or 8 groups of four hex digits. 2000::1 is two groups, so you need six groups in between to make 2000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:1. But I don’t know

I think you’re conflating multiple things there. There’s nothing magical about IPv4 that gives your LAN addresses stability when your ISP changes your IP prefix. That’s provided by your router doing network address translation. You send a p

> do you just scramble keys when picking an address? No. Your ISP or tunnel broker gives you a network prefix. Then you configure SLAAC to use that prefix and hand out addresses within it. Job done. For example, the prefix might look lik

Exactly enough to fill out the address, which is always the same length. BTW, IPv4 does basically the same thing. The address 127.1 is equivalent to 127.0.0.1.

It’s not very broken then, because I've been using sites behind the Cloudflare CDN all day with no trouble. Even the status page says it's just intermittent errors.

I don’t think Trump is a “good guy”, I just don’t think there’s any useful evidence here. If there were it would have been leaked during the Biden administration, or it’ll be leaked/released during the next administration. Don’t forget

That doesn't make much sense. Surely anything salacious would simply be released by the next administration? We've already seen how eager the Democrats are to tie Trump to Epstein. Just a few weeks ago they ”released” a photo of T

Many games these days come with explicit terms allowing streaming of the game content, including the music. But this, and your argument, is not really very related to the case at hand. In addition to the alleged GPL violations, there is a r

In this specific case there _is_ a direct contract independent of the GPL. The TV came with a notice stating that it used GPL’d software and offering to convey the source to anyone who wrote them. That’s a valid contract, which the SFC trie

That’s true, but the contract thing is also separately true. The TV came with a notice stating that it used GPL’d software and offering to convey the source to anyone who wrote them. That’s a valid contract, which the SFC tried to act on. V

I’m pretty tired of people who see an opinion they don’t like and immediately assume that they know everything about the commenter and their hypothetical “apps”. Ad hominem is so lame. Besides, the last app I wrote used XUL with XBL for reu
