I'm so jaded by expert opinion these days. For decades doctors have been recommending a low-fat, high carb diet and saying things like saturated fats are bad for you. It's becoming very clear that there's no evidence this is

I actually find SFO to be a really nice airport, especially Terminal 2. It's compact, which makes it easy to navigate, yet as a major hub has direct flights to a lot of domestic/Asian/European destinations. It's also rel

Probably true...I'm gay and have ~2500 matches on Tinder while being pretty discerning (I swipe right maybe 10% of the time). Also agree that if you are just looking for a "hookup" being gay makes it many times easier to do

Not trying to overgeneralize but there’s definitely a correlation between poverty and gang activity. I’m also not necessarily suggesting gentrification is a net positive, just a big factor in declining crime rates in NYC. In Manhattan, I th

As a former SF resident now living in Manhattan I can definitely say I generally feel much safer in NYC than I did in SF. I’m guessing it’s a combination of the fact that most of Manhattan is so gentrified that there are few pockets of poor

In theory, it seems like it would make sense for Reno to grow into a tech hub over the next 10 years. Pros: close to Bay Area, next to Lake Tahoe, no state income tax, huge long-term investments from Apple/Tesla, lower cost of living.
