I've already written it in another comment: a different way of solving the problem would be to build a tool that allows developers to mark releases as safe. (public lgtm) Every package would have a safety score and you could decide you

Everyone does and I don't think we will be able to change that. It would be nice if there would be a tool that would allow developers to mark a new release as safe. Every package would have it's social safety score and you could d

I'm not yet sure if we should abandon grids completely. I've tried flexbox-only with one project, but I found it to be repetitive and more time consuming than starting with a grid based on flexbox. A simple flexbox grid is my way

I will make a flexbox framework with 100 bytes gzipped that contains one thing: display: flex. Wait.. flex.io is already gone? Nvm.

Really hard to tell when something is solved, because it's always going to get improved. As Elon puts it with self driving cars: They must be more secure than human level until we can expect broad acceptance. However both technologies

Background: I don't like the idea that people could start to take one of the higher ranked nootropics just because of the ranking. A quick google scholar tells you that most of the stuff is complete garbage.

I think Elbakyan should do everything to make sci-hub easily replaceable. Once it's hosted on multiple places it would be much harder to shut down. Maybe completely free research papers are not the future but there should be a Spotify

For me, both units are pretty useless. PX is the way to go except for some cases, e.g. a button's padding that scales with its text or baseline grids. The following article (not mine) explains why pixel win: https://mindthes

You can't generalize all inkjet printers. I use a Canon Maxify Injket in my company (we print only ~200 pages / month) and it's amazing. There is no laserjet that could compete in price/print.

I really think that we often overestimate human intelligence. We may be able to infer what another person is going to do next but I don't think there is any magic going on. PS: Try trolling humans, it works.

I think the AI aspect could provide some interesting additional business ideas. I guess it's just AI for the uninformed, for you it's an algorithm that follows certain principles (no abrupt breaks, constant level...). Creating pl

We've always generated value for advertisers and therefore implicitly paid content producers. Trying to get a share of that value takes money from one of those two entities if there are no intermediaries. I think it does not make sense

IMO Angular1 and React are so different in their approaches that it does not even make sense to compare them. If you want to base your application on a 'kind of' functional design with sane reasoning you should know what to use. W
