Wasn't the general word that they'd put it in a 'case' so that nobody could see what the actual thickness and design was like?

Your Markdown is not properly formatted when you get to the job description page, not sure if this is an issue with the Markdown or a problem with AngelList.

Sorry, yes, this is what I meant. There is less "difference" of pressure in vacuum vs. depths of the sea.

I'm no physicist or engineer but isn't it easier to deal with the absence of pressure (a vacuum) than with lots and lots of pressure?

A previous employer wanted me to investigate the possibilities of implanted RFID in order to: - Track employee bathroom breaks - Track employee hours of work - Ensure building security (in that order) Cards/Tags were not sufficient bec

I wrote a bit[1] about CSS Modules with React, but interestingly it looks like CRA isn't using babel-plugin-react-css-modules so I'm trying to figure out what they're doing instead. [1] https://dev.to/daveirvi

In this case I can definitely recommend using a 3rd party recruiter. It costs you nothing (they take a % on top of your salary from your employer), and will often help coach you on the best way to get a particular role as its in their best

I'm sure good recruiters exist there too! In all honesty, talking to people in an engaging way is a key skill no matter what industry you want to be in, Computer Science or otherwise. If you really want to avoid people, you can maybe f

UK, EU, US? If its UK I would suggest you find some reputable 3rd party recruiters (yes some do exist although rare) and start talking to them. Even if nothing comes of it, practise makes perfect.

Thanks, I'll give this a try :) Currently I have Hyper looking like this: https://imgur.com/a/8pZmMqM so I have tabs that I can click between and they look nice. "Prettyness" seems like such a trivial th

I'm not saying you have to have tabs, if you want to paint your terminal pink with yellow fonts and render it upside down then go for it, but I'd like tabs :)

Really, and its a terrible reason to write an entirely other app, but I just don't like the styling on the tabs :/ That tabbed Windows GUI is just so damn ugly it actually distracts me.

I don't want to take away from anything, but I think resourcing appropriately is a problem for Jon not for me :)

I don't really have a use case for a file manager, but I love your https://fman.io/blog/transparency/#open-source-promise :)

Thanks, I think I'd seen this one in the past but had ruled it out due to no Windows support (at the time). Edit: Ah, also "doesn't have features such as tabs" ruled it out for me.

Looks great Jon, happy you are expanding the Sublime family. Can I suggest Sublime Terminal as a possible addition? I'd happily pay for a decent terminal experience on Windows and with your cross platform toolkit it looks like you coul

Could you set up accounts for those clients, send the credentials to the people you demo'd to, and see if they start using the product? After they've used it for 2 weeks, call them again.

Thanks for the feedback :) I think I was more positioning this as "We have hundreds of open source dependencies, can I pay someone (x) to support these all in one go?", mostly due to the proliferation of npm packages!

I'd love to be able to think of a side project I'm actually enthused to work on. I don't know if I'm burning out but nothing really seems interesting enough to me to put the effort in.

So from my perspective, what I would need is: - Are the roles permanent or contract? - Where is the company based? I know the work is remote, but I can't get insurance to work for companies based in the US.

npm caching has been heavily reworked between 3x and 5x and may well end up resolving the problem they are having in the first place. Suggest they give this a try as a first port of call. After that it's worth figuring out if the depen
