They're probably not doing high enough doses and/or a combination of the following: Using LSD with intentions to not be bigoted, prejudice, etc. Taking LSD with the intention to introspect, experience spirituality, etc Taking lots

Lots of people carry in their homes to prevent their kids from accidentally getting hold of the firearm. It's prudent to maintain control of your sidearm on your person unless it's locked up - you'd know that if you had any n

How do you square that with the fact that there are roughly 8 million concealed carry permit holders in America today? Are they all on power trips? http://www.gao.gov/assets/600/592552.pdf

The full quote is: "The overall mortality for sex-reassigned persons was higher during follow-up (aHR 2.8; 95% CI 1.8–4.3) than for controls of the same birth sex, particularly death from suicide." So trans people are at an increa

Ssnake's assertion is false and provides a good example of the sort of cocksure, wilful ignorance and bigotry trans people have to face every day.

That's my point. Trans people get murdered for being trans even in the most 'accepting' areas. People like Sssnake don't help matters, either.

We don't exactly have a shortage of people who think trans people are just going through a phase and will grow out of it in the world today. Your view point is hardly forbidden. Of course it would be bad if people cheered their kids in

We're discussing gender, not sexuality(in the standard sense of sexual orientation). The term "transsexual" is somewhat misleading, yet I think it's the best term available for what I'm talking about. You might not

I think there is a lot of truth to this, even though you seem off base in some of your other statements in this thread. I (obviously) support equal rights and access to life saving hormones and surgery for transsexual people - since I am on

Being a transsexual is not a "lifestyle". It's a neurological medical condition that is treatable with hormones and surgery. http://tgmeds.org.uk/diffa.html Maybe people think it's a "lifestyle"

No one except you can tell if you're actually a transsexual or not. But, from what you've said here it doesn't really sound like you are. If you're happy as a male, you don't suffer from gender dysphoria and you don

That's not the case for a lot of transgender people. I'm a MtF transsexual woman and, yea, a lot of problems are created by the intersection of being trans and our culture - but the underlying problem is having the wrong hormones

I think you can tell a lot about men's self image and conception of their own value as lovers by reading these comments. Congratulations on your successful marriage with a woman you want to be with!

I agree that if you're currently suffering from MDD, psychedelic use is very likely contraindicated. I wasn't speaking of use while actually depressed.

From what I recall, a non polar solvent such as kerosene is used in the crude extraction of cocaine. However, it's very very unlikely that "cocaine is then recovered by evaporation" since kerosene is obtained by the fractional distillation
