Why is a browser expensive ? There are many great and big open source projects out there that are maintained and developed mainly by volunteers. Why can't Firefox be like this?

I think it's because they try to impress their non-technical friends with flashy colourful and matrix-like terminal windows and come off as hackers when in reality most of them don't even know what a stack overflow is.

This is so true. .NET has been steadily going downhill for some time now. The best indicator is the absolutely rotten documentation for the more recent .NET stuff. Compare that to the older .NET Framework and/or Winapi documentation wh

It's not true that most people don't care. Most people absolutely hate it that they have to re-learn Word or Excel or Windows whenever a new version comes out. Just ask any mom or dad. But what can they do about it, really? Nothin

While I agree this is great, it is not really related to and no excuse for the inconsistent mess that Windows' UI has been ever since the Windows 8 Metro disaster. Win32 UI (think Windows 2000) was perfectly line.

I think it's relatively safe compared to it's neighbouring countries. Though, of course, it's neighbouring countries are what could be called failed states with some of the worst safety records of all countries in the world
