It is still very hard to find matter devices. We wanted recessed downlights and ended up with Zigbee. My air conditioner just died, would be great if a matter compatible one became available.

I think a great undergrad student would do just as well at any top-tier research institution. I would bias towards schools near Boston, NYC and SF/Palo Alto for the industry connections and opportunities. Maybe MI/PA for Auto/

For MANY companies, the AWS solutions are automatically approved and only require putting on the IT backlog. Any other vendor or cloud could easily take a year or more to bring online and would require an excruciating amount of scrutiny for

Analytics Engineering are folks that transform data in an ELT model. The most popular tool is DBT. I think the work will continue as companies embrace the idea of not writing custom ETL code anymore. The tools are super immature though. DBT
