Agreed... I didn't notice the mention of racism in the title. I only realized after reading the article and seeing people ignore the substance in lieu of attacking a perceived slighting.

In case I am missing the sarcasm, I have to say this is nonsense. I have helped my autoimmune condition with a focused change in diet and exercise at least as much as the medication has. Chronic pain is not as well treated as it could be be

Useful metric! Among the other factors, which are: "Does this job allow me to have time to do side projects?" "Does this job provide the funds for my hobby?"

Hmm. With Starship's lifting capacity, that might become a side project. Maybe they could even sling something to become part of the orbital station and continue to Mars

Now that I think about it, we would get real good at settling desert and polar regions with the experience and data coming back from an established Mars colony. We could also learn more about more efficient habitation? Think of all the te

This may not be a popular opinion. I think suburbs have done more damage to U.S. culture than anything else in the last 70 years. I believe they breed isolation and decrease community cohesion in comparison to a well-developed urban neighbo

I think your ire stems from thinking I'm pointing the finger at the U.S. If you re-read my comments you'll see that I don't mention it anywhere. Blackout is unintentional. Unless it is the result of infrastructure mismanageme

MRIs are stunningly loud indeed. The music would distract me from the noise patterns which other than being interesting to me don't keep me from napping in what to me is a cozy tunnel (whereas the music might).

I have taken the tunnel mentioned in the article in 2011, I believe it was out of Whittier to Anchorage after arriving on a ferry from Seward. It's an interesting experience - single lane for what seemed like 5 minutes. Strangely, I do

Looks like some of the few newer rules are from 2007 which is when the railroad tunnel became also accessible to vehicles. PR move for visitors, it seems.

I used to get a funny look when instead of a choice of music I opted for silence in the headphones during an MRI. Then I think I started to say it dismissively enough with conviction and got nonreactions.

I would argue governmental domestic disinfo programs violate said right (i.e. Russia or China). They change the heuristics for what is believable by many citizens and thereby effectively make much external information useless. This is a for
