Do you think that you can easily reach the same userbase with a 3rd party installation process as the official app store one?

This is exactly the reason I would have never considered to build any apps. I have had couple of ideas but the risk is to big that a faceless corporation is going cancel your business without any reason and visibility.

I totally agree. I used to work for Amzn and the management was totally idiotic about remote work. We had to go to the office to be on call for datacenters 1000kms from the office. Makes perfect sense right?

There is also the narrative vs facts problem. "It takes forever to build a nuclear power plant and it is very expensive" This is a narrative. "Lets compare how MW capacity / day (how long it takes to build) across differ

Forking a project is creating a drama now? Was it the case when nodejs was forked? https://www.infoworld.com/article/2854642/nodejs-gains-a-new...

Same to me. I was just wondering. To me the weird part is justified with the expressiveness and the clarity Erlang brings to the table.

Just like heroin is widely used a recreational drug. We live in a free world and you can use Kafka as a persistent reliable store, even use it transactionally. Instead of reading the marketing claims I like to read what @aphyr has to say ab

Why do we need a frontend framework? I am genuinely interested. The last project we used SSR and the sire ended up fast and snappy using a lot less energy than the previous similar project we used a JS based framework and we had all the fun
