It's actually too slow at the moment. I find myself asking it something and then opening another tab and doing a conventional search. Often, I'll get the answer faster via conventional search. At this point I'd prioritize spe

Code is just the rendering of an algorithm. It might be best to prompt it with a high level description of an algorithm, then iteratively prompt it to refine its prior output or add more detail. Render to code should be the final step.

Is the Referer header reliably set these days? I was under the impression that browsers had been moving away from setting them for privacy reasons. Example: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/referrer-policy-new-chrome.

I didn't have Internet in '93. Can anyone here elaborate on how images were done prior to this?

Perhaps it would be a nice feature to be able to "sticky" post an archive link. I generally search the comments for it first if I know I'm going to hit a paywall.

Came here to say something similar. It seems to me that being able to determine how specific neurons are affecting outputs will be crucial to future optimization.

Sibling comments here don't square with my experience running VS2022 under Parallels on M1 MacBook Pro. I found it unusably slow for regular work and ended up moving back to a Dell laptop. This was a year back so perhaps things have ch

The style of writing in this article is very odd. One example: "You are giving" rather than something like "we are receiving". Perhaps bing has been a good bing and helped improve the article?

Try taking an air quality monitor in your car with the windows wound up, CO2 cracks 1000 within a few mins.

You play your trump card as late as possible. Edit: I wasn't being particularly serious, just riffing on the parent comment. That said, there is a long game playing out around FSD.

Kudos to the author for a very succinct, practical book. It would be nice to see a few chapters on high availability though - seems to me that failover and consistency guarantees are one of the really hard bits.

Auth via Microsoft ID is degraded, our platform is blipping (cache retries, message retries due to packet loss), access to the Azure portal is degraded and the Azure status page isn't loading consistently.

Would be good to see some research exploring the relationship between recreational drug use and neurological conditions such as dementia, anxiety, depression, etc. Hindsight is 20/20 vision and all that but I'd definitely choose a

For future, consider moving some of your secret sauce out of your app and into a cloud service. That way, you'll have opportunity to validate the license and key parts of your IP aren't open to reverse engineering.

Good old single metric reporting. 273 FSD crashes in 1 year. Over how many miles driven? And how does that rate compare with non FSD vehicles?

This really showcases the ridiculousness of the metaverse. Mimicking the world in VR is good for games but inefficient for productive tasks. We already solved efficient online shopping, without needing to implement constraints like physics.

We've added a log tailing feature into our product UI which also has a basic find/filter. It's been enormously useful for cases where something weird happens as you can immediately access the last few mins of logs.
