Rand, in the email included in the post you wrote, "They're compensated fairly, IMO, but both deserve the titles they've been aiming for." That's what led me to that conclusion.

It seems that in this post a title change was given without a raise. I don't necessarily think that doing that is such a good idea. I know the post says that they were already being compensated fairly. Here's why I think promotions without

I wonder how they are planning to do this because last I checked you can't transfer iPhone apps from one account to another without losing all app history. Last I checked, Apple's only solution is for you to delete the app and then republis

I'm trying to understand 78 Million in bids. Let's say 10 companies make a bid of 150K to the same single developer, then that is 1.5 Million in bids right?

I've thought about that impersonating password window on OS X a lot too. I like your solution although I'm pretty sure nobody is going to implement that. It only makes sense if we go back to browsers taking over for login, then there could

As a developer, I had a path to improve my ranking which was to find a way to increase my downloads. I agree, the keywords model is somewhat of a fail in general because people can pick unrelated words, but this new version is actually wors

The iOS 6 app store is less dynamic than other prior app store iterations. Example being I have an app listed as number 19 under a particular search. I've been checking that search every day and we are always 19 on the list. No change whats

I don't believe it is completely psychological. The big area on iOS 5 where I saw lag was the keyboard. A lot of times it would lag a few keys behind and then catch up in a burst. iOS 6 seems to have fixed that, or at least I haven't seen i

Is there a reason you don't want to use a web interface? Toodledo has a very intuitive web interface and a native iOS app.

Have you tried Toodledo? That's a pretty awesome one and they use SSL for all iOS traffic to their server. I've been using it for 2 years now and I have pretty much no complaints. edit: Spelling mistake

How is that separate but equal? Who is making anyone separate? I'm suggesting the government should treat everyone the same. My understanding of "separate but equal" historically had to do with separating students based on race into separat

OK. Thanks for the list. I think there are two issues in this "same sex marriage" debate that are being confused by people on both sides. One is the special rights and privileges given to married couples, and the other is the actual word "m
