Great concept! I've been waiting for a technology like this. Event based seems like the right way to go and I've often wished an app like this existed for my private events.

I agree the sorting right now is crap. I think the idea is that right now chomp cannot grab internal data to sort things, so the idea is to combine the data available on Apple's internal side with some of chomp's concepts and technology. Th

Inbound links are the indirect goal of every blogger. I found the article to be very informative about the details of a business segment I wasn't familiar with. What makes this article different than others?

Just thought of something else. Imagine an app where you can pay an in app purchase to feed a real animal. Kind of like an online petting zoo... There's a lot of potential there.

Interesting idea, but it's not scalable. As you add more users, your interaction is less meaningful. On the other hand, if the app let you interact one on one with an animal, then that is a very novel concept especially for a kid who lives

I've found that there is a segment of people like you who would rather pay for a premium ad free experience up front, and then other people who would not, so I think the point is, if you can have separate versions of the app to address both

Great storytelling and I have no doubt that it is all true. One thing that bothered me in this monologue was he kept saying things like, "Do you think that THEY don't know?" "Do you think that Apple doesn't know?" Problem for me being that

Another big productivity helper is to be less hesitant to discard a piece of hardware that is not working well. Repairs often take more time than you expect. It takes discipline to do this because as a tech person you tend to like to troubl

I'm going to dangle myself on a limb here. If you consider the constraint that the indie programmer may have had incomplete skills to set up a proper service, saw this method as faster for any number of other reasons, or didn't want to mai

I think your question is very valid and I think the answer is that the "solution" depends on what your goals are. The author may even consider it to be perfectly fine if he has to reset these statistics regularly, or even move to a more pro

Came here to say this. If you can get around the latency rocksmith is a better solution because it makes your guitar sound proper for the track using dsp. This solution just listens to what you're playing.

Interesting. It seems even if Apple does something about it, the next step would be to slightly tweak each of them to be non-identical to the others. I wonder if the developer is making a lot of money because that would be the real indicato

This is what I've found too. I just spent my evening enjoyably using my Kindle Fire when I could have just as easily picked up my iPad. The size is actually refreshing to me and the interface has some really nice features. All these reviews

That was an amazing hook and I feel like the book was talking exactly about me. It was actually very reassuring to know how normal I am. Not sure if you're associated with this book, but I think I'm sold.

There's also the problem of power. I doubt these devices could be usb spec compliant since what is essentially happening here is an endless chain of bus powered usb hubs. It is pretty though.

I think what's happening is that all the positive spin about why you should make a startup are just drowning out the negatives, and this makes sense. I work for a company that makes over 100 million a year and one of the founders told me th

Good job. I think one of the most important things you did is you knew who your customer was before you started your application. It seems obvious, but most apps in the app store have no target customer.
