How do you know you don't have celiac disease? Sounds similar to my experience and I do have celiac disease.

And just to add to that, the blood test can be unreliable. A stomach biopsy is the best way to verify the condition.

Seems like the simplest explanation. A franchise this large MUST BE doing price optimization. It would seem irresponsible if they were not.

One thought I have of where it might come from is some other job sites list how many people applied for a particular job. If they scraped that information plus the job posting they could gather this type of data pretty quick.

That is incredibly facinating. The way he talks about the quant models in the interview they sound simple in comparison to his prior work. My suspicion is that mathmeticians are involved in the front end model creation purely to create effi

On first glance this article seemed negative, but by the time I finished I couldn't remember what they were complaining about and I really wanted to check it out. Almost seems like intentional reverse psychology.

I haven't tried it, but I've looked at it. I think it adds too much complexity. Who decides which files go on the annex and which don't? Doesn't seem like an automated great solution for a scale-able team. I'm looki

Somewhat off topic, but I'd love to see something more git-like that works for large repositories. I work on video games and our repos are several TB. It's not practical to use git in those situations and Perforce feels too clunky

Have you actually seen a performance comparison when idle? I ask because I have been curious about trying to build a full application inside Unity. Update() on Unity doesn't strike me as being all that different than a normal GUI app&#

Not sure if you're serious, but at what price would you stop shorting? What strategy would you use? Short with a trailing stop?

Interesting. This is a tangent, but how does Conformal make money? Are they for hire contractors? They seem to be doing a lot of open source work that doesn't appear to pay anything right now and they also appear to be a small team.

I don't like what these guys are posting about but should we really abandon freedom of speech over it? Wouldn't that be an example of the terrorists winning?

Kind of off topic, but that award wreath you put on the screenshot does wonders for sales from what I've seen. It's instant credibility almost regardless of what the award was.

If the Amazon phone follows their Kindle line we will see the price rapidly reduce throughout the year, so I'll be interested to see how that changes the poll. Wouldn't change my opinion. I bought a Kindle Fire gen 1 and ended up

Do you really think a site has to be "important" to be targeted? To influence public opinion it seems like you'd just want to blanket influence as many popular websites as possible. It wouldn't take that large a team to

I've suspected for a while that the NSA has some kind of software like google alerts that monitors the top 1000 relevant sites and detects when they are being talked about so they can turn the discussion. We know from Snowden leaks tha
