I mean yeah, essentially this is uno reverse carding the business people with a question that's as difficult for them to answer as their question is for the dev. They probably don't know. They're waiting for the dev to throw

FB managed to capture successive generations with FB then Instagram. But Tik Tok got the latest and that's the problem. FB can't grow any more because the young generation isn't going to use its products. But what "socia

I read through a lot of those threads, there wasn't much of value there, just angry people shouting at each other mostly. I'm not saying it should be banned, but I too stopped reading them eventually because what's the point?

The article is right, but I think it's missing the main cause. People who used to make high quality web content have moved to youtube instead because you can make more money there and it's probably easier. Add to that, I think bec

Their advertiser don't want to advertise to bots and the users who break the rules potentially cause a pile of bad publicity for them so they're happy to get rid of them.

This is speculation on my part, but I've felt that it's because women know they may want a child in their lifetime and due to their biological clock it gives them a window to plan back from. They know they should do it between cer

10+ years ago Google offered gmail with custom domains for free. When they started charging e.g. the service you're paying $5 per month for the old users remained grandfathered into that free tier. They changed that in the past few wee

I'll tell you honestly why. It's because if they charged 5% or 10% it wouldn't be worth Apples time. If they can't make 30% on the app store they'll go do something else which will make them 30%+ and leave it to rot

Not 100% sure but can't you setup rules for that stuff in s3 itself? Like delete everything older than x date but never delete current version? I have a feeling I set something like this up but it's been a while since I did it.

There's two types of notes for me. One is stored procedures for things that are tedious but I know I will need to do again, a lot of programming snippets might fall into this one but procedures of any kind. Second is writing my current

I have wondered if some of the money coming out of the US stock markets might flow into the european markets. Purely because european markets didn't really have the blowoff prices we saw in US markets in the past 6-12 months and in the

I believe Truffles are in high demand in the US but it all has to be imported from Europe. Various farmers around the US have been trying to cultivate them to supply them locally. There's a pretty good video on the subject here https:
