Whether you think it's a good thing or a bad thing, I think eventually sites will look at their viewership from specific countries with additional regulations and simply geoblock them if the economic cost of compliance is more than the

Not all tobacco products are equal because not all tobacco products are intended to be inhaled. Cigars and Pipe tobacco aren't intended to be inhaled and most people will not find them addictive. But there's no nuance regarding th

I doubt Youtube/Google cares that much. It's not really youtubes core business, more of a side gig for a set of products (cable channels) which frankly are in the process of dying.

Nope, any competitor just becomes a dumping ground for all the nasty shit that reddit has banned. If it were that simple, it would've been done by now, it certainly has been tried multiple times.

This is true, but I don't know to what extent Chinese businesses can purchase USD assets? My assumption is it's probably harder (you need Chinese government permission) to do so? Certainly chinese retail investors can't do it

The vast majority of evergrandes debt is denominated in CNY not USD I think. Bear in mind how tightly china controls access to its markets and its currency isn't easily convertible. In other words, there's probably far less spillo

In England it was optional to wear masks during the summer, I would estimate about 75% of people I saw in places like supermarkets chose not to wear them. So society, in England at least has already decided that if it's their choice, t
