My SaaS service has had one chargeback in 12 years of business. In fact I’d argue the chargeback risk with SaaS is lower because if they do a chargeback you just cut off their access. With physical goods there’s nothing you can do if you al

I’m suspicious of the term “thoughtful conversations”. They didn’t state what changes, if any, he was required to make to get the show back. Is he back on the air but completely muzzled?

C is simple. Good, fast, secure C is complex. Rust has a higher initial learning curve than C. But the gap between bare-minimum Rust and fast and secure Rust is much smaller than with C.

Those footguns still exist in C, they’re just invisible bugs in your code. The Rust compiler is correct to point them out as bad architecture, even if it’s annoying to keep fighting the compiler.

That has not been my experience. I develop on Windows and need to compile for Linux. After spending several hours trying to get cross-compilation working, I gave up and do it via WSL now. I switched from Go and I feel like Go was much bette

It would be great if AV1 was as ubiquitous as H.264. Apple is very much holding things back by insisting that Safari only support AV1 on devices with hardware decoding (M3 and higher), even though other browsers use software decoding just f

I feel like this is more of a tech demo than a product. It is impressive engineering, for sure, but you can pay $100 more for the Pro and get significantly more features and battery life.
