I’m suspicious of the term “thoughtful conversations”. They didn’t state what changes, if any, he was required to make to get the show back. Is he back on the air but completely muzzled?

- andrewinardeer 1y agoGood point. It wouldn't surprise me if he has been told to back off with the Republican bashing jokes. That said, if he has been told that then he has probably agreed to do so to get back on air. Not sure what's worse, being told to bend the knee or agreeing to bend the knee.
- johnnyanmac 1y agoThe "thoughtful conversations" was losing a projected 4 billion dollars as their stock tanked this week by 2%. The supposed cancelations of Disney+ didn't help either, but we'll probably never know the true impact there. But yes, we don't know what strings are attached. I'd still stay skeptical since this may just be an appeasement on the surface.
