Having owned an iPhone 4 and an iPad: 1. No easy way I could open a document in iCloud on my main computer, in an application not made by Apple. iCloud is completely opaque, which I think makes it harder to use. 2. No way to attach a file t

Interesting point, had a look at the github page and looks really engaged, you've convinced me to try it out on a project. Thanks.

I know Dart is a language, I have installed the Editor and played around with it, but it is all compiled to JavaScript (at least for anything except Dartium). I guess it is conceivable that Dart and Angular might be used together, not sure

I have been wondering if I should look into AngularJS but I'm a bit worried about it's future given Google also has Dart which seems to be competing with it, or am I wrong? We all know what Google is like when it comes to closing stuff down

Well done jQuery team, nice work. Wether I can use it production before April 8, 2014 is going to be debatable. I dearly would love to delete the XP VM running IE8 however.

How about Job's famous "Thoughts on Flash"[1] > we strongly believe that all standards pertaining to the web should be open. Rather than use Flash, Apple has adopted HTML5, CSS and JavaScript – all open standards. Not suggesting iOS wou

Can't the big media eco-system collaborate and develop a plug-in instead (open source, platform agnostic, an extension to HTML5 video etc)? I would rather download and install "HTML5 Premium Content Add-On" or have it pre-packaged in my bro

Sorry to go off topic, but interesting to see "subscribe via feedly" instead of Reader and "Notify me..." via email done through MailChimp (RSS to Newsletter) instead of Feedburner. Still makes me sad but good to see alternatives starting t

I have MacBook 11 and dual-boot with Linux Mint 14. It runs great, much prefer it over OS X. If there was one thing I could steal from OS X though it would be the trackpad and multitouch implementation. On all the distros I have installed i

I converted to Pocket from Instapaper myself. There is a reason I like Pocket though, it's simple, I don't need to think about notes, tags, comments and social crap. It's a 'read it later' service, if I really wanted to have notes, tags etc

I tend to agree, I much prefer semantic versioning eg: major.minor.patch for most software but for Chrome it isn't really important because it auto-updates. I haven't checked which version I am running for months.

I get that and I agree. I guess the key is to ensure any service you move to has an export functionality and should be standards based. I also believe that using multiple services, each of which is built around a core service, be it email,

I wouldn't say it was needless. As far as I'm concerned, it is the KDE and Wayland guys who have come out screaming in a very public, very vitriolic attack against Ubuntu. No matter what side of the argument you stand on, you can't deny tha
