Possible "real" advantages I can think of: - Less legs take up less space - Less legs require less hardware - Bipedal robots require robust control, and achieving this would ultimately be beneficial across the board - Possibly eas

I think 1 is due to some MS protocols which the browser needs to support to open these items. Brave supports them already apparently (just did a quick search out of curiosity).

I studied some QM on my own a while ago and while I could just do what the problems asked me to, I was really confused about how a quantum system is supposed to evolve assuming the state collapses. Then I got to density matrices and under

Yeah they can be helpful in such cases. I used Gnome for a while and although I liked the overview animation, it was too slow for my taste and you needed an extension to speed it up, so I just disabled them. I see that Hyprland allows you t

I like gsettings. You can just put the calls in a script once and call it whenever needed. You can access everything from there. You can search for relevant keys from the terminal or with dconf editor.

I do not know QFT or String Theory and I have a question. Can these other equations be derived from the Schrödinger equation using a suitable Hamiltonian? And do you mean that you need time to be in the Hamiltonian as an observable to satis

Your comments here are not the kindest and they seem pretty ignorant and arrogant. There is no complicated contraption here. A couple tens of thousands of lines of code that makes arranging windows in any way you want completely effortles

I 'd freak out for sure. How can you be cool with your car changing direction when it should not? And how can someone not pay attention? What will you do? Sleep? Read a book?

There is so much money spent on crap by organisations and individuals around the world, and we should save money for the abjectly poor or to promote healthy habits and prevention by not trying to radically improve the human condition itse

Immortality is a strong word. I am personally in favour of a situation where death would feel more like a choice and not like something which can come at any time or after a (not very) long road of mental and physical decline and loss. The

I 'm totally with you. Most of human misery, suffering and malice is due to decline, loss, grief and death, and the awareness about them. People who claim it would be bad to live long are either coping or had a chance at a decent life

True. And main memory access can easily become slower than SSD sequential access if you do random byte accesses and your working set is larger than the CPU's caches or TLBs.
