I've been using containers for years- since at least 2019 - and I've never had a Mozilla account.

If you want a chromium skin with vertical tabs, both Edge and Vivaldi offer them built into the browser.

??? Why does you grandma care about when tabs start overflowing? I assure you, your Grandma isn't GGP and will happily accept what the browser does.

I sincerely suggest using vertical tabs! There's two popular FF extensions for it, the original Tree Style Tab [1] and Sidebery [2]. Most widescreen displays are far wider than web content these days, so you don't lose any horizo

At some level I understand when people on HN get mad at FF increasing the size of the tab bar and the occasional changes they make in the UI/UX. I've never had a major problem with them - it's been at most an hour of getting

You can use the EAP builds for free in exchange for some stability issues, which in my experience have affected me all of 0 times. You can even download EAP builds from the toolbox for convenience by clicking on Rider and switching to the &

Hotwire is just a name for a bunch of tech that has been around for a while. The components of Hotwire - Turbo and stimulus - have improved over time, for sure, but the core ideas haven't changed much, if at all. I worked on a hotwire

Probably - some of the marketing shots they showed in the event showed it being hidden with a black bar, but I couldn't find any that showed the toolbar itself being below the notch. At any rate, if it doesn't exist at launch, som

These look positively insane . 120Hz HDR displays. Can be specced with up to 64 GB of RAM and a GPU that (apparently) matches a 3070. All the ports you could ever want and magsafe. I can't wait to get my hands on one. The notch does

Did they really just claim 30-series tier performance on the max GPU? If that's true that would be insane!

Do remember that Cloudlfare's CDN is not meant to serve non-webpage content. They outline it in their ToS; section 2.8 here: https://www.cloudflare.com/terms/ It is unlikely that this same restriction would apply

This is the old PC master race thing again. Well duh, of course the Quest 2 is garbage compared to your $3k VR setup, but a $300 flat entry point to the VR space - no additional purchase or PC required - is undeniably a good thing for every

Thanks for the links, that was a very succinct talk and made me excited to try it out. Just one follow-up question: the 4.12+domains branch doesn't include support for the try syntax for handling effects, correct?
