I bought an x230 from Lenovo's outlet about 2 years ago. i5 with 4gb of ram and a 500 gb sata drive. I threw in an m2 SSD and 16gb of ram and it's great. I'll eventually replace the 500 gb sata drive with an SSD but for now i

If the Hillary stories about her email were relevant then this is too. This is at least the third story from different news sources that I've seen flagged to death on this topic.

I can see the argument but 99+% of this audience isn't cloudflare. My comment was more directed at those who aren't. Special use-cases are all over the place. It's just making sure you're choosing because your use-case r

This sounds to me like an object lesson in "Why you shouldn't write your own HTML parser." Every time I see a dev trying to parse HTML with a custom solution or regex or anything other than a proven OSS library designed to pa

I think DC's workforce is thinking about getting into contracting or consulting. Anytime Republicans cut into the actual federal workforce they just make up for it with outside contracting. Then they can say they cut the workforce whil

There was a Women's March. Where's the tech march? This isn't a tech story unless you count being alive as a tech issue.

The iOS marketshare is a orders of magnitude larger than that of macOS so the target vector is larger. Malware and the like would be hugely more profitable on iOS than macOS.

My 2015 MacBook Pro has a quad-core i7. No 32GB of RAM but that seems like more of a chipset issue than a space one. Or if you ask Phil Schiller it's a battery life issue.

I honestly wish they'd focus on battery tech instead of whiz-bang features like the touchbar. Just accept that you're not going to make a touchscreen Mac. Accept it. That's fine. I don't want one anyway. Give me a quad-c

I'm really hoping that Apple opens up an API to them. They have built in mics like here-one and the new Bose headphones. I would really like to see what app developers can do on a (somewhat) open platform. Intelligent noise cancelling,

Getting development as close to production as possible means you discover problems sooner. I've been trying to get kube-solo up running our entire infrastructure (mongo, postgres, elastic, two python 3.5 apps, one python 2.7 app) for a
