Did someone new take over the RIAA in the last 18 months? I felt like this absurd litigation and nonsense was a thing of the past. I haven’t heard much on this topic in years but then all of the sudden the stupidity was cranked to 11. No on

Not OP but Apple Gen1 products have a horrible track record.

Alternatives technically exist, but they suck. We tried some alternatives but PWA was by far the only one that got any traction.

This isn’t a problem exclusive to Apple anymore. Google has implemented some draconian nonsense this year to the point where I ended up distributing my Android app as a PWA. I had no problems with Apple. Apple gets all the headlines, and ce

Yes. Which is why we’ve seen a massive change in flight destinations this year. Hub to hub is still extremely busy. My main point is that I doubt frequent flyers are the ones pushing flight patterns.

This question is actually pretty complex. If the plane is flying it doesn’t matter if people are on it or not. I might actually argue that frequent flyers are flying to hubs and on flights that haven’t been canceled in 2020. Regardless, you

You can’t compare all of Koch donations to Greenpeace. You can only compare their anti-climate change donations.

Get rid of 230. We don’t need to socialize through anonymous centralized services. Peer to peer and/or decentralized communities will form to replace centralized social media. And humanity will be better for it.

As of macOS Catalina, it can piggyback off nearby devices. Even if the device is turned off, it still may be able to broadcast location if there are other devices nearby.

It changes my evaluation of the claim, which is sourced by Greenpeace. In the long run I have no doubt that Greenpeace will have caused more damage than the Koch family. We could have clean energy right now if it weren’t for the decades of

I wish there were some service I could call in between 911 and... nothing. If I call 311 it almost always results in a call to 911, because they can’t do anything. However, I worry about the safety of these mental health workers. I don’t kn

Google has had data leaks and hacks, yes. It’s not private unless you own it and control it. If you send it to Google it is unequivocally not private.

I doubt this. Apple may end up with a massive competitive advantage over other laptops. I doubt Microsoft and PC OEMs are just going to stand on the sideline and watch Apple eat their lunch. I would expect there to be an arms race on... ARM

Just get rid of corporate taxes, and get rid of capital gains taxes. Treat all income the same. Kills the double taxation issue, and removes the incentives for corporations to avoid taxes.
