Well the worst thing is it allows you to make a really convincing pile of junk and get people to pay for it. Then you can worry about the details when you have your first paying customers. That's where everyone is overconfident. And th

Not even remotely politically motivated. It doesn't matter if it's successful or not. Their space business is worth virtually nothing on paper and the funding structures and profit/loss accounts are scary.

You should actually dilute it to about 70% with distilled water. It helps penetrate cell membranes and destroy them. You'd be surprised how much fungus and other nasty stuff appears over and inside old tech. I deal with camera lenses m

I've been working with Microsoft products since about 1989. It has been mostly miserable, like living with a schizophrenic gorilla. You wake up in the morning and don't know how fucked your day is going to be. Dealing with them ha

I know someone who works for a nefarious gov org and they never put the bitlocker keys in the TPM on their laptops. You have to enter the password yourself on power up. Wonder if they knew about this.

Literally revenue is collapsing in most sectors. Technology purchasing is declining. Service models are failing to turn a reasonable ROI. People stopped buying shit.

This is never going to materialise. It’s dead in under 2 years. The market is shrinking and saturated already and it’s not because of AI gains but geopolitical instability and supply chain issues, some of which are caused by AI spending and

Would just like to add that academic publishers have to deal with a lot of rubbish too. Trying getting the psychology department to use anything other than O365. We have our own typesetting contractors who deal with the muck they produce.

Oh 99% of the lines of code we write don't do anything because the tools and languages are crap. Only reason LLM looks good is it's an easy way around the over-abstraction of everything.
