There's was no argument in that comment, just a display of pretentiousness. Also, this wasn't name calling, just plain sarcasm. "Badass" , if meant literally, is a positive adjective. You're being ridiculous.

Or unless you need to reenter password/offer fingerprint after certain amount of time. Which, I think, should be the actual standard, and typically is with the apps like Bitwarden.

Agreed. Although speaking from the memory, the chapter on keeping wife happy is best not taken literally in modern day and age. It dated considerably, considering how women are way independent nowadays, even if at the time it was relevant.

As an European who's lived in the US, Spirit was actually just as "good" as Ryanair. Sure, you can hate on both of them, but they're cheap and moce you from place to place. I can endure any discomfort for 3h if it meant

And then you have RyanAir in Europe with no credit card or loyalty program offerings. They did have a loyalty subscription program, but it cost more than it generated. Best not to generalize.

It shouldn't be your responsibility, just like several dozens of other interventions shouldn't. Yet here we are. Also, why are you talking about this particular ship when I'm clearly talking about piracy at large in this regi

My hot take: if there's one thing one could wish US would use their military for, is fixing the piracy in this region once and forever, mostly by forcing Somali to do so.

What about recapturing about 2 years of unused H1B and coming back to US for a new position? Does the employer still need to issue the 100k fee? I would imagine they don't, since the visa is already issued, technically speaking?

20% cost overrun is nothing if you look at the typical cost overrun of a US infrastructure project. UES extension in NYC a prime example of that. And 3 years late? How about 50 years late?
