Grabbed a preorder, the Beige one seems like a legitimately good deal at 300 USD; and it comes with a spiral bound user manual!

Tangentially related, is this book worth the hype? I don't read a lot of genre fiction, but don't like to miss out on the exceptional (just finished and loved Flowers for Algernon, as an example). Edit: Sounds like an enjoyable, l

I don’t think the cost of fuel is the primary factor in travel decisions… it is almost always the cheapest option regardless. People are more interested in time and convenience, both of which become drastically less favorable the longer you

We have a saying in the industry… IPv6 is an academic solution to an engineering problem. The reality is it’s just too damn complicated to implement and maintain at scale while also retaining compatibility with v4… which is never going to g

Reading literary fiction is such an enriching activity in life, I highly recommend it. If you don't know where to start (and you need to retrain your attention span), pick up an audiobook. I started with Jeremy Iron's reading of L

Also curious… in the US I don’t know any working professionals in my generation (millennial) that are counting on social security as part of their retirement planning. If it’s there, great - but if it’s not, not going to let it keep me from

I agree, and in fact I did not start with Ulysses and do not recommend people do. I read 2-10 on the list, then Hamlet, then Ulysses - which I feel mostly prepared me for it. I did love it, but it is not an easy read, and took me the better

Neil Postman's Amusing Ourselves to Death is probably worth a read. The problem is with the medium, and how it strips away critical information. Television stripped that information away from typography, TikTok strips away even more. I
