All I can do is speculate as I don't know the answer to either question conclusively. So...to speculate: I know that spam email is coming from an IP; I don't necessarily know that the IP is officially associated with a given dom

Both a domain and an IP can get blacklisted, however it's typically IPs blacklists that you find yourself dealing with if you're sending emails from your webserver(s). You can sidestep these issues by using something like Mailgun

That's two events mixed together. There was an amnesty similar to what you're talking about in 1968 with the Gun Control Act, and it's the only firearms amnesty that's been offered. The "Firearms Owners Protection A

I'm going to do the math below, but your employer very likely isn't billing highly enough. Most employees top out billing 80% of time, so 32 hours. Assuming that, you're generating $5280 / week or $21,120 / month.

I've got a similar situation with a web app millions use, but a couple corner office people use IE11. We were able use an IE only CSS selectors to degrade; in theory you could do the same without compromising the layout for other user

Off-topic but related: https://scottscheapflights.com is _amazing_. The Premium sub is worth every penny...my wife and I will be doing a ton more overseas travel in 2019 purely because of the deals this site finds.

Very well said. The 30 minutes after my Dad passed from cancer were overwhelming. I explain it as having all the good emotions turned off and all the bad ones turned up to 11. Like when you’re at a concert and it’s so loud that your ears

Very jealous. After the Islay "holy trinity" (Ardbeg/Laph/Laga) Talisker is on my must visit list whenever I go to Scotland. I've never had much Ledaig, I think only the 10 year. I'm going to have to grab a b

I wholeheartedly endorse this. For the money Corry is the best bottle coming off the island.

My observation from tastings is that many people do like peated whiskies, but few people like all peated whiskies. The biggest hits I see in tastings are Talisker 10, Lagavulin 16, and about any Kilchoman. I haven't kept track but

There is _no_ objective measure of quality when it comes to whisky so all we have to go on is personal preference. When Murray benighted the 2013 Yamazaki, that was _his_ personal preference against _all_ whiskies reviewed, peaty, smokey,

I'm a Scotch/whisky nerd going on 10 years now. Particularly obsessed with anything from Islay. 50+ bottle collection, mostly easy-to-find stuff but there are a few rare expressions in there (Ardbeg 2009 Committee Release Superno

Ok fine. The title is somewhat exaggerated. Look at this story as another in a series of extreme efforts in 1943/1944 leading up to D-Day, the absence of which could have resulted in a different outcome. The portable Mulberry harbors.

Have you worked much with D8 Commerce? I know it's spoken of highly in the community but after tolerating it since my first deployment of that combo in late 2015, it still feels half baked at best and almost completely undocumented

I find nothing remotely special about a C-suite operator siding with an outside voice against a "trusted" internal resource. Even if the operator is the legendary Steve Jobs. C-suite operators, honestly, tend to just not really t

I was rolling my eyes at the subtitle. The article devolved from there. Some great (sometimes indirect) information on why the 747 and to a lesser extent the A380 are being phased out, from my new favorite YouTube channel, Wendover Product

Don’t overthink diet. Avoid these three things: obvious sugars (soda), fried foods, and bread. Try to do 100 push-ups and 200 squats a day. I do 10 push-ups and 20 squats every time I check my email. Simple = maintainable.
