This comment makes no sense - I'm an iPhone user and receive spam almost daily. And if it's reassuring to know that your messages are rendered correctly, Beeper Mini would only expand the number of contacts that this applies to. H

I see a market for this, though I don't think this iteration of the product will succeed. I know a handful of folks that would love to have a replacement for their phone - something less bulky that they can carry around in place of the

Oh wow that's interesting, thanks for sharing! I thought that the value in today's LLMs comes from the wealth of "free" crowd-sourced answers online. It seems like OpenAI is trying to create more source material specific

Is ChatGPT a competitor? I always viewed LLMs in this context as an interface for SO. They're not contributing new answers/code, right?

It sounds like they have that planned in the short-term, and from the presentation, multi-modal AI "sometime next year" (e.g. answering "What is this building that I'm looking at right now?").

I'm only hearing about Earthly through this blog post, but is their optimization just shaving time off of overhead? From their landing page, it sounds like their system made caching and build targets a first class feature. > Rebuild

Very excited for this. I wish more films went with the no marketing approach, but I suppose it can only (maybe?) work if you're as regarded as Miyazaki.

Slack tries to satisfy a number of requirements, all through a chat interface. 1:1 chatting, group chatting, team/project discussions, company updates, etc. I think Slack is as good or superior to Workplace just considering chat functi

The Apple watch started at $350, not $1k [0]. Also no one with an Android phone has an Apple Watch, which means Apple at best has ~27% of the market [1]. [0] https://www.theverge.com/2015/3/9/8162455/appl

Just curious, but are you ex-Meta? Sapling looks pretty neat, but I was hesitant to introduce it at the company I work at since I wasn't sure if it's UX would be well-received. It feels great to me since I got used to it at Meta,

I think with any technology, there will always be individuals looking to make a quick buck. Whether that's a fledgling startup trying to woo investors, big tech cos looking to pump their share price, or your average Twitter/Linked
