Artists and designers are accustomed to Maya-style GUIs. As a counter-example however, I worked at a game studio where we made our own engine. We didn’t have the time to make GUI-based tools. So, instead we focused on text-based configurati

Nope. The off-by-one extension to The Joke annoys me to no end as obnoxious and unnecessary. But, the church of "At Most Once Delivery" is legit. If it's important, they'll call again. The network is unreliable. It

At work, I use a 32" 4K monitor for code/web searches + a laptop screen for Slack. At home I use a 34" 1440 rez ultrawide + a 1080p to the side for music/YouTube/Slack. I don't have a strong preference. But,

Sure. But, in practice it’s never a debate between O(1) vs. a O(large n). It’s always either a heavy O(1) vs. a light O(small n) —-hash vs. linear search. Or, a heavy O(large n) vs. a light O(large n log n) —-hash everything vs. sort everyt

I’m not familiar with Godot, but word on the street is that its 2D pipeline is nicer than Unity3D’s. Unity3D does 2D, but focuses on 3D. I’m using Unreal right now and I expect it is 100x heavier than you are looking for. It’s one of the
