> Are people upset about them adopting the name? Yes. Macedonians of antiquity were Greek. "Northern Macedonians" are Slavic. Greeks are very protective of their identity.

The water deficit could completely be taken out of alfalfa for the next decade of predicted drought. Literally nothing needs to change except stop growing a low value crop. Charging for water would have the same effect.

They don't need it, they just don't get all their rated efficiency, which is much higher than single-speed systems. Single-speed systems commonly have cooling efficiencies around 10-14 SEER, the Gree Sapphire is 38 SEER. If you

You lose about 30% efficiency using "standardized wiring" with an inverter heat pump instead of a communicating thermostat, because running a heat pump at 33% power continuously instead of 100% power 20 minutes of every hour resul

This is a tangent. Only the garage roofs have solar thermal collectors on them. Every existing suburban area in the USA regardless of density has enough building roof volume to fully supply a Drake Landing-type thermal system and eliminate

First, that's literally not even close to true about paving. But I meant retrofit all existing housing stock with solar collectors and heat storage, neither of which require much room.

The efficiency difference in a power supply running off 120V or 12V is not significant. The power supply is a negligible portion of heat output. They would last longer if separate though. Slim recessed LED fixtures have their power supply i

I know with the Leaf that would be relatively easy, because it doesn't ensure current from the battery matches the current going to the motor, so if you add a plug into the HV and inject power so the battery current nets zero, it can d

My plan is large PV array for supplying daily needs but paid charging or campsites for the vast majority of travel energy. Slow or local travel is the primary usage.

I'm not GP, but I used to write firmware. I had a C compiler, a debugger, and emacs. IIUC, if you write a web application in the MS world, you have Visual Studio, ASP.Net, and IIS. There doesn't have to be piles of libraries.
