You could try building out an online lifestyle-type business, like selling apps or some affiliate marketing stuff. That would give you enough passive income for you do whatever you wanted with your time.

Thanks for replying. BTW, how do you get a good signup rate for your email list via the app? Do you load a prompt up after X amount of hours/app loads?

Looks great, was it built with any engines like Cocos2D? What email list did you use? How many downloads is it getting now? Why did you decide to go with a 99c price point when you could have gone freemium, give away a few levels and do a 9

For the record, and this is just a matter of semantics and word play, but some people use the titles "idea guy" and "product guy" interchangeably. Some very good product visionary types even label themselves "idea guy".

I think this is a neat experiment and should help to answer the question as to whether or not entrepreneurs are "made" or "born". Personally I think most things in life can be learned, entrepreneurship included.

You're right about apps improving their design, but it should be noted that game design for kids is kinda tricky. For example, what if in that math app, the player had "X" amount of lives, and every wrong answer cost a life? It might solve

Anyone who knows anything about the way mobile phone distribution works will know that this doesn't matter. Android will capture at least 50% of the mobile market in the coming years, but Apple and the iPhone will capture the majority of th

Sort of, government services are usually impossible to survive without. Apple however, can still miss out on sales by having a downed website.

I think it would be clearer if you had a little diagram or graphic about how the process works. Ie. Person A uses Color to "store" content. Person B accesses content by doing X. Person B receives content. Person A receives a Like/FB Post/Tw

One of the reasons I never bought a license was the cost. I followed a Unity course over two months and wanted to develop mobile games. I had the skill to, but committing $400 to something I'd never really done before was insane. The Apple

I'm happy with my 2011 Air (4gb ram, 128 SSD). I'm purchasing a thunderbolt display adapter to try and use dual screen. You can get a 3 way adapter (dvi, hdmi, display port?) from dealextreme.com for really cheap. Although I only do iOS dev
