I'm happy with my 2011 Air (4gb ram, 128 SSD). I'm purchasing a thunderbolt display adapter to try and use dual screen. You can get a 3 way adapter (dvi, hdmi, display port?) from dealextreme.com for really cheap. Although I only do iOS development on it so I haven't pushed performance to the limit.
