My biggest issue with personal analytics is storage. I want to track everything, from browser history to keystrokes, but I don't want to share this information with a third party. I think solving the data problem is the first hurdle.

I'm really interested in their solution for solving metadata leakage. I just looked over the SCIMP white paper, and it didn't mention anything about metadata.

My first game using Unity. Nothing impressive, but in only took a day. If you don't have the Unity webplayer, download links are in the README[0]. [0]: https://github.com/kyleconroy/memcubed

My usual response to recruiters (if I respond) is a short and polite "Not interested, happy where I am". However, Skyrocket Ventures is different. I've received several calls from them over the last year, all from blocked num

I would suggest Unity. They just announced 2D support for the upcoming 4.3 release. The free version can deploy to both Android and iOS, as well as desktop and web. LibGDX is a good choice if you don't want to target iOS. They just swi

Email isn't designed to be secure. Even using public-key encryption (which I'm sure very few of your contacts use), message metadata (such as from and to addresses) is not encrypted. You're forced to trust your email provider

Email is inherently insecure. Even with PGP encryption, metadata is always transmitted in plain text. LavaBit encrypted message bodies as soon emails entered their system, and they were still susceptible to government influence.
