Yes, if you are fine tuning some other parameters you need to keep the seed the same to be able to have any idea what you're doing.

It could highlight differences for you. Current models already seem competent enough to take into account a lot of context and not to alter the meaning.

> Lagrange had insisted that such an approach could not be used to represent signals with corners, i.e., discontinuous slopes, such as in square waves. Isn't that true though? You can only approximate it, right?

Given amount of searches, your counterexample being from 2020 seems to be just proving the point. But I would imagine in most cases, when there's backend error you could fall back on some simpler engine and display that without user ha

I disagree about separate weights. I don't trust judgement of somebody gullible. But it's related to the problem of what is trust. E.g. I may trust somebody to create a secure software, but I wouldn't trust her take care of m

Yeah, we went the same places. Usability, bootstrapping and privacy - the biggest problems as I see it ordered by difficulty (yup). Privacy - make queries require some trust from you. Your software may decide what is allowed based on your n

All you need is to have secure communication channels between people. Yes, one could argue it is already not really possible if your adivesary is the gov, but it seems to be much broader problem than the topic at hand.

Trust is transitive but it is not binary. It is very important that it is not binary (multiply weights along the path) You would have multiple paths to any node and you need to aggregate that.

Yay! I don't think they get it yet, but this is badly needed. They key is that the trust must always be subjective. You trust specific people and you should adjust that trust over time. Those people trust other people, you have just a

I think most kids understand that. It's just that adults reality is way easier - if you don't like some people you just don't spend time with them. For kids, if you are not friends with people you spend 80% of your time with,

I recommend reading some history books and reading less news. I mean that sincerely, but it sounds snarky. Nuclear weapons has been around for like 80 years and influenced global peace. News optimization function is for you to want more of

Mind boggling. If author is around here I'd love to know how much time did this project require. Everything seems so polished. Aesthetics alone are something that many big projects could learn from.

You want to make sure offender doesn't cause any more suffering of others and you want to help him become somebody better. I know US prison system exists, but we officially dropped torture as a punishment some time ago.

Hey, I'd love to hear that one. Moxie has been around for a long time. If somebody has rationalizations for everything he released broken and talked about in context of being part of Mossad that should be a fun read.

I mean so is CPU, but in general it's a bit harder to hide stuff in some untrusted binary than it is in hardware. In general. In this case I think we're doomed regardless. Btw, if somebody knows good technical writeup on eSIM, I&#
