This looks great, and obviously the website does one thing well too. One of the entries is for Bunch [1] which is something I spent years hoping to stumble upon only to do so now when I've moved to Linux. Oh well. [1] https:/

I'm not sure about Sorbet. Shopify are definitely talking the talk but the issues list on GitHub is getting pretty large and the much-trumpeted VSCode plugin has disappeared. My first foray was cut short by a bug ( https://g

We discussed this at work. It's smug in a way that I can't articulate. Our first thought was that it was a typo, then we found the actual part of their website that tells us "no, it's not a typo". Thanks for that gu

You may be interested in http://www.berrylan.org/ - I only found it today so haven't tested it but it does seem to be an interesting solution to the wifi problem you have stated.

Where are people getting their documentation for Phoenix? The stuff on the website is awful for grasping the bigger picture and how the parts of Phoenix combine. It gave me the impression of being an immature version of Rails when I tried i

I agree. But the statement "half the country wants to leave and half wants to stay" is still false.

While I think this petition will fall on deaf ears, you can't definitively say "half the country wants to leave and half wants to stay", because not all of the country voted in the referendum. Likewise, you could say: voting

Absolutely. I'm not positive about the outcome but I wouldn't berate people for trying, hence my comment "I can only hope that the pressure exerted from various angles (petition, march, sane MPs) will result in Parliament rev

These petitions are almost always met with a boilerplate response. There was a recent one (which I can't find as the site's currently down) regarding Russian interference in the last UK election, with the government response being

There's been a recent tendency to split login forms into username/password over two screens as mentioned in this article. It's maddening. Password managers can't deal with this, unsurprisingly. I don't see the benef

I have no idea why they don't abandon either the non-Pro Macbook or the Air and consolidate. Have an Air and a Pro only, because the overlap between the Air and the non-Pro Macbook seems to serve only to confuse. This seems to be the s
